Santo Bakehouse opened in October 2021 on Calle Espíritu Santo, Madrid, after months of renovations. During the first six months, George and Valerie worked alone, offering a curated selection of sourdough breads and artisan pastries. Over time, their offerings have grown to include more products, including coffee and takeaway drinks, always maintaining their focus on quality and on crafting unique products that reflect their passion for dough and their commitment to authenticity.
Their philosophy is simple: focus on a few products and perfect them constantly. Rather than offering an overwhelming variety, George and Valerie have preferred to modify the classics to offer the best possible version. This has allowed Santo Bakehouse to forge a unique identity, as a bakery oriented towards excellence that values the connection with its customers and the use of the highest quality ingredients.
